“Nudity has sometimes been used to attract media and
public attention to a cause. Nudity in
protest was used as a tactic by the Doukhobors in the early 20th century, and
has been more widely used since the 1960s.
Modern slogans include ‘Disrobe for disarmament’, Nudes, not nukes!’,
‘Naked For Peace’, and PETA’s ‘I’d rather go naked than wear fur!’” - https://londonpress.org/2016/10/12/public-nudity-and-the-socio-cultural-impact/
“A few years ago in Northern Michigan and along Lake
Michigan my wife spotted a shop that she just had to go into. . . I entered the
shop and spotted an American Sunbathing Association decal on the side of the
cash register. Minutes later finding the
owner alone I complimented him on displaying the decal and this led to a very
pleasant conversation. Once he learned
that we too were members he told me that behind the tall solid privacy fence,
about 300 feet from the shop was a large private area where friends, and select
locals could come and enjoy the pool, lay in the sun and even enjoy the beach
on Lake Michigan. Yes, we were invited
but unfortunately we had to move on to meet friends further up the road.” –

“My wife and I are keen naked bush walkers. We have
hiked many extreme tours (naked) all over Australia and the World. Our absolute
favorite area is the Northwest of Western Australia. . . It is paradise on
Earth. We climbed the second highest mountain in WA [naked] and spent many days
in Wittenoom Gorge, Bee Gorge and the Karijini Gorges (also naked) - one of the
most stunning places we've seen . . .” - karijini49
“The weather was amazing on Monday, the sun was out
and it was warm with not a breath of wind.
What could we do, but skip the work for the day and go for a walk. Naked of course . . . Andi and I went to one
of our favorite beaches, Sker Beach near Port Talbot. This is an amazing place to get naked and
walk . . . Once we got to the beach we . . . walked a couple of hundred meters
before finding a spot at the top of the beach to stash our bags and clothes and
use as ‘our spot’. . . We sat in the sun for a while, then decided it was just
warm enough to have a walk along the beach naked. We walked west near the top of the beach and
kept going past the point that the stream crosses the beach, then almost to the
start of the industrial area up at the top of the next beach. . . We turned back
and returned along the water edge to our stash point. The beach was almost empty all the time we
were there, we passed one solitary male dog walker on the return leg of our
walk at the water’s edge, and a couple (M+F) walked past us when we were sitting
at our stash point. Other than them, and
the couple of fishermen down at the eastern end of the beach we saw no one in
several hours. All in all, it was a
great start to our naked walking year. . . One of the great things is that once
on the beach you can lose your shoes too, and walk the full length of the beach
totally naked and unencumbered.
Perfect.” - https://nakedwalker200.wordpress.com/2014/03/12/great-walk-on-sker-beach-near-kenfig-first-of-2014/
