“I arrived at the camp . . . called Camp Full Monte. . . The wonderful thing about it was that it wasn’t just ‘naturist camping.’  It was rather like staying in a friend’s beautiful and prolific naturist garden where you can lay out, read, nap, knit or whatever.  From the moment you take your clothes off you feel like you’re in a veritable Garden of Eden.” – Jason Moore, https://youngnaturistsamerica.com/my-european-adventure-into-naturism/

“The nudity I participate in when hiking is more destination based.  I have hiked to some beautiful swimming holes and spent an hour or two naked enjoying the water, the breeze and the freedom to be completely human in nature.  Strangely this scenario is one other hikers would completely understand.  I myself have come across whole groups of people swimming naked in forest streams.  Even to non-nudists it makes sense that if you are miles from anywhere and don't wish to carry wet clothes you would swim naked.  It's just the walking nude part that seems odd to people I guess.” – N4k3d, http://www.nudelife.org/showthread.php?tid=140

“Being naked in public feels amazing.  The sensation of warm outside air on your completely nude body can't be beat.  I've been to nude beaches, clubs, and Nudes-a-Poppin, where lots of hot men and women wear absolutely nothing.  Boobies, butts, vaginas and penises were meant to be free.  Let it all hang out!  The human body is beautiful, especially with no clothes on, no matter your size, color, or gender.  So strip off and have fun being naked!” – Frank Johnson, https://www.change.org/p/mitchell-j-silver-allow-public-nudity-in-an-area-of-a-new-york-city-park/c?source_location=petition_show

“I love to drive naked at any opportunity, but mostly on the way back from the beach.  It's quite a long drive but feels so much better when naked, and after having been naked for hours at the beach, it just doesn't feel right to put clothes on to get in a hot car and drive home!” – Bigbzz, https://www.truenudists.com/group/driving-naked/last/112256/

“One of my most enduring memories was my first proper naked-in-nature walk in a managed pine forest during a fishing trip.  The fear and the pleasure were both palpable but it is the pleasure that remains in memory.” – John, http://freerangenaturism.com/forum/index.php?topic=911.0;topicseen

“Nudism isn’t about hiding who we are.  It’s about finding out more about ourselves and enjoying our life.  If we find we enjoy being nude . . . we need to admit it to ourselves and embrace it as part of our lives.  If nudity is a part of our life, then we should find what our families think of it.  If they are okay with it then our time of sneaking about might be over.” - http://nudistwebsites.com/category/dating-tips/nudist-resources/house-nudists/

“The UK is too prudish: We should follow Munich's example and legalize public nudity.  Nudity shouldn't be a crime, but something people can enjoy wherever they are.” – Andrew Welch, http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/the-uk-is-too-prudish-we-should-follow-munichs-example-and-legalise-public-nudity-9275075.html

“Puritans even refused to bathe because they believed being naked was an act of depravity.  Puritans were advised to only bathe that which could be seen, therefore only the hands, face, neck and arms were washed.  In addition, the arts suffered as poetry, dramas, and fiction were considered a wasteful use of time and a sin. . . In 1620, the pilgrims traveled on the Mayflower to America.  These Pilgrims were also Puritans, and brought with them the habit of clothing themselves from head to toe in unadorned garments.  They also refused to bathe.” – Jordan Blum, https://youngnaturistsamerica.com/nudist-history-of-nudism-nudists-and-nudity/?platform=hootsuite

“I even have to cover myself as I carnude through the neighborhood, as the neighbors are out walking.  It is a glimpse of spring, and we are all taking advantage of the wonderful opportunity.” – Jbee, https://thefreerangenaturist.org/2017/02/17/sometimes-when-it-rains-it-pours-hiking/

“The Bare Burro Run started in 2010 and is now established as the premier nude running event in Southern California.  The wild burros usually visible from the course inspired the punning name of the race, because competitors run the race bare… burro.  Almost 200 runners completed the course in 2016, despite an overcast and cool weather. . . Running shoes are strongly recommended for runners but nudity is not an ‘option’ at the Bare Burro, for runners or onlookers: It’s a requirement. . . You may forget to put your clothes back on until you’re on the freeway going home.” - https://youngnaturistsamerica.com/nude-run-8th-annual-bare-burro-5k-olive-dell-ranch-california/

“Honestly, clothes are tedious and uncomfortable.  They in my belief are also a barrier to real human connection.  One of the reasons social nudism is so fun is because everyone accepts each other and everyone already is united as humans.” – Thomas Balaban, https://peepingotter.com/random/why-i-am-a-nudist/

“I have the good fortune to be spending the winter in San Augustinillo, Oaxaca, Mexico. . . What makes it extra special is that nudity is tolerated on the more remote sections of the beach.  Everyday I enjoy nude beach walks with my dog and the people I meet don't seem to mind at all.  No one pays any attention to us except for those who wish to pet the dog.  We are really enjoying being here.” – Bill Bowser, https://www.reddit.com/r/nudism/comments/5o4fmy/looking_forward_to_summer/

“I’m a nudist and have been for as long as I can remember, and as a nudist I love driving in the nude whenever I can, and as my job is driving I drive naked quite a lot during the summer . . . I'd just keep something handy to cover me in slow moving town traffic.  Last summer I drove to the south of France for a holiday at a nude camp site, I couldn’t stay naked on the ferry between Britain and France but I could at least drive to and from the ferry in the nude, and did just that. . . It was mid-afternoon when I pulled into the quiet filling station . . . I stopped for the night in a quiet layby and managed to have a meal and a hot drink at the open boot of my car in the nude, I then opened up my sleeping bag and lowered the front passenger seat and settled down for the night.  Early the next morning I went to the boot again and made myself a hot coffee still naked and drank it before filling a flask and setting off to complete my journey, arriving at the campsite mid-morning, as this was a nude campsite there was no problem checking in naked and I spent the next two weeks enjoying the sun at the site and the nearby beach completely naked.” - Barearse

“Many people ask what activities nudists engage in.  How about nude hiking (also called free hiking)?  Just find a resort with a large property, or an area remote enough that you won’t offend the textiles, and get in a few miles of nude hiking.  You can pair it with camping and make a weekend of it!” - heartlandnaturists, http://centauri4-naturism.tumblr.com/post/122209685051/heartlandnaturists-many-people-ask-what

“I walk around the house naked.  I sleep naked.  If I could I would go to school naked . . . I'm mad that guys can walk around shirtless, but us females have to suffer.  I'm hittin those nude beaches every day!  I mean we came in this world naked right; well I want to be buried naked, even if I am an old saggy wrinkly old old old lady.” – Princesschanel

“I have always been fairly comfortable with my body. . . “I had felt some apprehension about being naked in front of others.  But strangely, once the threshold was crossed, this fear quickly dissipated.  People of all shapes and sizes actually looked pretty much the same.  You didn't look so much at people's bodies, which told you little about them.  You were drawn to their faces. . . Plus the sheer novelty of it was exhilarating.” – Tim Dodd, http://www.afr.com/lifestyle/arts-and-entertainment/art/the-mcas-naked-tours-give-you-a-different-view-of-art--and-of-each-other-20161205-gt4lq9

Planting on Memorial Day Weekend

On Sunday 5/24/2020, I planted three bushes we'd purchased at a nursery two days ago.  I wore my normal gardening suit - nothing.  I've tried several other plants in this bed but failed for some time.  Hopefully, these work better.
