Devil Dog Canyon Hike

Monday (5/14/2018) four fun naturists freehiked the Devil Dog Canyon area.  The four naked friends hiked up cow trails from the parking area at Hell Tank (a large pond that was too dirty for skinny dipping) until the trail petered out (after about 1.5 miles).  The area was fairly flat, with lots of lava rocks in some areas.  Juniper and willow trees were abundant, as well as a few cacti.  The weather was cool and beautiful.  After an hour and a half of pleasant nude hiking, we returned to the parking area.  (We were able to get naked at the car.)  Near the end of the hike we passed a clothed hiker.  We apologized hoping he was not offended.  “Hell not” he said, followed by how unusual it was to meet a group of naked people on the trail.  We invited him to come along next time; he said nothing about that.
