I have some exciting news!

To refresh your memory – the idea is to make a grand, three-week visit to several naturist and cultural sites in Germany, Italy, Croatia, and possibly Hungary as a group.  By going together as a group, we can save money and leverage the experience and expertise of Suzy, myself, and our friend, Jeanette, who speaks Croatian.  Another advantage to having this kind of group is that we can be flexible while on the trip as well.

I’m writing this letter to the group, so we can discuss the several options we have before making commitments. There are certain expenses we will need to pay up front, such as lodging, and you will need to arrange for the cruise soon.  Other expenses are optional.  If, for example, you decide not to go to the Therme at Erding you could be dropped off in Munich or relax back at the lodging.  You will be on your own to buy food and drink, which I’ve estimated in the price.

And speak of lodging – I’ve found several very nice options of Airbnb for whole apartments or houses with five rooms for $40-60 a night per person.  These offers have whole kitchens, which will allow us to save money on breakfast. 

The plan is to meet at Munich, rent a van, and travel to the various places together – including the Therme at Erding, downtown Munich, including the English Garden, Verona, Italy, Valalta Naturist Resort in Croatia, and a Naturist Cruise of the Croatian Islands. 

Everyone is responsible for their flight to Munich.

We will be in Verona, Italy – home of Romeo and Juliet – for three nights.  Suzy has stayed in Verona twice for three months and can show us around the many Roman and Italian sights, gardens, and fine restaurants.  I stayed for three weeks and loved it.

We will then stay at the Valalta naturist resort in Croatia for three wonderful nights.  Valalta is truly a naturist paradise, with six restaurants, a convenience store, a marina, several beaches, and much more.  We can stay in mobile homes or apartments.  https://www.valalta.hr/index.php?url=en/

Next is the cruise.  The price is $1250 and includes all meals.  We will be sleeping on the ship at night.  The days begin with a motoring to a secluded beach and swimming in the Adriatic and then motoring to a quaint, thousand-year-old ports on a charming Island.   We especially loved the cruise.  The cruises are July 13 and 27, so we will be meeting in Munich July 6 or 19.  https://naturist2go.nl/tour/ms-silva-en-my-vjeko/?lang=en (The price is for 2017.)

We could leave from the cruise and return to Munich which would shorten the trip to just over two weeks and bring the total estimated cost to around $2800, depending on which cabin you select and not counting any additional cost for drinks or souvenirs and assuming a $700 round-trip to Munich, Germany and $30/day for food (it is cheap in Croatia).   Or we could continue to Dubrovnik for a couple days and drive back through Serbia to Munich or to Budapest.  That will bring to a trip to about three weeks and about $3300.
