Sycamore Canyon Freehike (Again)

On June 16, 2018, Amy and I freehiked the Sycamore Canyon area with two friends from Tucson.  The weather was overcast, making the temperature bareable this time of year.  As we hiked nude along the ridge, we speculated about the remains of the lava cliffs, and found a collapsed lava tube.  A jeep passed our naked ensemble; the man and woman simply smiled.  The walk down to the Verde River was enjoyable as the breezes caressed our naked bodies.  At the river we enjoyed the rope swing, and the cool. refreshing water.  On our return, we waved to the passing train below (but no one seemed to notice).  The hike was just the right length.  Soon, it was time to leave.  We returned home through Jerome and the pass over Mingus Mountain.
