“The day you discovered naturism might seem like the
greatest day of your life to you. The
buzz you get from being naked might be the best you have ever felt. You might grow to hate your clothes and love
nothing more than to finally get out of them and be naked at home. You might decide you don’t want to ever wear
clothes again unless you are absolutely forced to. Which is all great. But don’t let those feelings become a barrier
between you and the rest of the world.
If you find yourself avoiding social situations, work opportunities etc.
because you want to stay home naked, if you stop interacting with your family
and stay stuck in your room all day because it’s the only place they don’t
insist on you wearing clothes, well, that isn’t a healthy enjoyment of
naturism. That’s an obsession with being
naked and it isn’t a positive thing to have in your life. . . Sometimes the
best way to normalize something is to talk about it less, not more. The best ambassador for naturism you can be
is someone who is a great friend and good company, with a variety of interests
and personality facets – one of which happens to be that you are a naturist.” -

“’What is OBSCENE?’ . . . The mainstream media has no
problem showing blood-soaked streets, security cams of the Paris Attack,
etc. Nobody freaks out because that's
‘journalism.’ But show one nipple, a
little too much cleavage, a camel toe, or an outline of a semi-erect penis and
the space-time continuum is instantly disrupted, and the ‘Moral Minority’
raises 50 Shades of Hell over a natural thing.
Obscenity is in the eye of the beholder, pure and simple.” – Scott, Tom

“Who could argue the benefits of swimming nude? No clingy restrictive material to contend
with. No cold wet nasty mess against
your body when you get out of the water.
Honestly, does that make any sense at all? Other things that are better nude...laying
out on a warm rock in the sun. Soaking
in a natural hot spring in the mountains.
Sitting in a lounge chair with a good book. Curling up with a close friend on the couch
with a bag of popcorn and a good movie.
I could go on but I think the point is that pretty much anything is
better when done nude.” – Steveazimuth, https://www.truenudists.com/forum/viewthread.php?id=6&page=2
“I was hiking in an isolated part of Great Sand Dunes
Nat. Pk. in Colorado and as my truck was the only vehicle in the parking lot I
thought it would be pretty safe to take a nude hike. I had been out a few hours and was on my way
back when, as I came to the top of a dune, I meet a couple. Not having time to cover up I just said
HI. They surprised me by actually
stopping and engaged in some conversation about the weather and the great
scenery. Didn't seem to mind my lack of
clothing at all. As we were ready to
part ways the women said they had thought about hiking naked themselves but had
not quite worked up the nerve and were glad to see someone else had. Because of seeing me they night give it a try
next time.” – Bechbar, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=132&idt=52238&vpage=1
